Our Mission
Advancing leadership, design, and service among architecture students
Who We Are
The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is an independent, nonprofit, student-run organization dedicated to providing unmatched progressive programs, information, and resources on issues critical to architecture and the experience of education. The mission of the AIAS is to promote excellence in architectural education, training, and practice; to foster an appreciation of architecture and related disciplines; to enrich communities in a spirit of collaboration; and to organize students and combine their efforts to advance the art and science of architecture.
Our Chapter
Our chapter is located in Starkville, MS. and is an organization within the School of Architecture at Mississippi State University. As a chapter, we look to promote involvement in our local community through different service events and projects. We believe by promoting community involvement, students will be able to grow as individuals, leaders, and memberships of the community. Our AIAS chapter is specifically geared towards architecture students, but welcomes all majors to join.
